Breathwork at Inekawa
A guided somatic practice for clarity, emotional release, and deeper connection to self. Donation-based. Open to all.
About Breathwork
Breathwork is one of the most direct tools we have for accessing what the mind alone cannot reach.
Through intentional breathing patterns, we move energy, release tension, and open into greater clarity, emotional awareness, and inner stillness. It is a somatic practice. What we carry as tension, grief, numbness, or unresolved experience often lives in the nervous system long after the mind has tried to move on. The breath reaches those places.
Sessions at Inekawa are intentionally held and guided from start to finish. Participants lie down, eyes closed, and are supported throughout the entire experience. There is space at the end for integration before returning to the day.
This practice supports self-discovery, renewal, and personal growth, and works well alongside the retreat work many in our community are engaged in. It's also an accessible entry point for those who are just beginning.
No prior breathwork experience is needed. Come as you are.
Meet Ayu, Your Facilitator
Ayu is a breathwork and meditation facilitator originally from Ubud, Bali, where she grew up immersed in yoga and somatic practice. That background shaped her approach to breathwork and mindfulness from an early age.
Ayu's sessions are intentionally held and guided, creating a supportive space for participants to reconnect with breath and body, release stress, and gain insight. Her approach is warm, trauma-aware, and grounded in presence.
What to Expect
You will lie down comfortably and be guided through the breathing patterns. The session closes with integration time.
Please wear comfortable clothing. Bring a water bottle and an eye mask if preferred.
First-time attendees complete a one-time waiver before the session. It covers all Inekawa community events including breathwork, yoga, and sound healing, so you only need to do it once.
