Join Us in Service

Serve the mission. Support the sanctuary. Be part of the community.

Volunteers are at the core of how Inekawa runs. Whether it's helping care for our property, supporting a retreat weekend, or helping out at a community event, volunteers make it possible for us to keep our programs accessible and our community strong.

Choose the path that fits your time, skills, and interests.

General Volunteer Program

Help with service days, property care, outreach, community events, and day-to-day nonprofit operations. This track is open to all community members, no retreat experience required.

Retreat Volunteer Program

For those who have attended an Inekawa retreat and want to give back by supporting retreats directly: helping with logistics, hospitality, and operations so participants have a smooth experience.

Why Volunteer with Inekawa?

Volunteering with us is a way to put your time toward something concrete. Here's what people tell us they get out of it:

A direct way to support work you believe in, with visible, tangible results.

A chance to connect with a community of people who care about the same things you do.

Hands-on experience in hospitality, event support, and nonprofit operations, useful skills whether or not you stay involved long-term.

The knowledge that your time helps keep our retreats, programs, and support groups accessible to all.

Volunteers & Donors: Partners in This Work

Donor gifts and volunteer time work together to make our programs possible. Donations cover the costs, and volunteers are the ones who turn that support into welcoming retreats, well-run events, and a functioning community space.
