Inekawa: Helping People Awaken
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit offering retreats, holistic programs, and community support for healing, growth, and conscious living. Based in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.
You Don’t Have to Walk this Path Alone
Many people carry unresolved stress, disconnection, or a quiet sense that something is missing, even when life looks fine on the outside. Inekawa Foundation exists to offer a different kind of support: one rooted in presence, community, and direct experience rather than quick fixes.
We provide retreats, yoga and movement classes, integration circles, and scholarship-funded programs for anyone seeking a more grounded, connected way of living. Our work draws on practices like mindfulness, breathwork, and reflection to help people reconnect with themselves and their sense of purpose. We meet people where they are.
OUR RETREATS
Inekawa Retreats
Our retreats are immersive, educational programs centered on mindfulness practices, group workshops, and guided nature-based activities. These experiences are designed to foster self-awareness and provide tools for personal development. We offer a supportive community framework where participants can explore spiritual values and build lasting connections.
Retreats run monthly near Clermont, Florida, with group sizes kept small enough that everyone is seen.
COMMUNITY CLASSES
Kundalini & Yin Yoga
Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Inekawa offers donation-based yoga classes open to the Central Florida community. We offer two distinct styles: Kundalini, which works through breath and movement to build energy and presence, and Yin, a slower practice that uses long-held poses to release tension held deep in the body.
Both are beginner-friendly, held indoors at our sanctuary in Howey-in-the-Hills (just minutes from Clermont), and run about 60 minutes. No experience or special equipment is needed, just a willingness to show up.
VETERANS PROGRAM
Wounded Guardians Project
Inekawa's Wounded Guardians Project is a dedicated program for veterans working through the weight of service: moral injury, hypervigilance, isolation, the parts of the job that don't end when the uniform comes off. The program pairs community, mindfulness practice, and integration support specifically for that experience, with financial assistance available for those who serve or have served.
This Work Exists Because of Our Supporters
Retreat scholarships, the Wounded Guardians Project, and our weekly community programs all run on donor support. When you give to Inekawa Foundation, you're helping keep these doors open for people who need them most, including those who couldn't otherwise afford to attend.
Every contribution, whether a one-time gift or a recurring monthly donation, goes directly toward scholarships, program costs, and community outreach. All donations are tax-deductible.
